I’m also sure that there were a lot of efforts and interests from people in the early release of M1 Macs (which had macOS Big Sur, which Avid Media Composer was not compatible at the time with). I realize no current version of Avid Media Composer is natively compatible with M1 chips.     Currently (Dec-2020) there are no Video I/O drivers for Big Sur, and only some AMA plugins have been qualified. Before upgrading to Big Sur, double check that all audio, video, AMA plugins, and Video I/O drivers is also supported by Big Sur. * Note, Catalina (and higher) does not support Mojo DX, Nitris DX, Title Tool, Marquee Titler – see FAQ
